Inshore Charters

Generally, Inshore Fishing charters are boats for up to 6 passengers, plus captain (and sometimes a mate). This is a great choice for small groups (2-6) who'd prefer more room and creature comforts than a flats boat might provide. Most inshore fishing vessels are designed for more than 6 passengers, however Coast Guard regulations limit their commercial use to 6 persons, so you'll have more than enough room. There are also a few larger vessels with licensed capacities beyond 6 persons that fish the inshore waters around Hilton Head.

The Fiesta (689-5873), a 53-foot Custom Carolina Sportfishing Machine, offers inshore and offshore charters daily. This unique yacht offers an expansive air conditioned cabin with galley, two staterooms, two heads, refrigeration, freezers, a large tuna tower, and a massive fly bridge with plenty of seating.

Live Oac (843-384-4384) specializes in Private 3-hour evening Shark Fishing for families and small groups up to 6 people. (6pm daily, advance reservations required) Their vessel is an extremely comfortable Hurricane SunDeck featuring cushioned seating, bimini sun-shade, one head, and a full windshield to offer some protection from foul weather surprises. Join Live Oac ("Oak" with a "c"! ) for an evening of shark chasing fun. We'll have an opportunity for dolphin watching along the way. Programs focus on fun! For groups with children, we offer an educational approach to fishing, sharks, dolphin and our coastal ecology that is both engaging and entertaining for children (of all ages!).

The Outcast is a 2002 26 foot Glacier Bay Catamaran powered by twin 140 hp Suzuki outboards. The flat out softest ride in the water. High chop, whitecaps, or even large rolling seas are a walk in the park. The twin hulls cut through the waves eliminating the pounding and slapping that conventional V-hulls produce. A quick ride to the fishing grounds means more time fishing and less time traveling.
